FC Wichita is an American soccer club located in Kansas, founded in 2013. Home matches are contested at Stryker Soccer Complex in northeast Wichita.
The Men’s team competes in the Heartland Conference of the South Region in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). Five other area teams (Bentonville, Dallas, Joplin, Little Rock, and Tulsa) make up the Conference. FC Wichita finished their inaugural season 11 and 3 to become the 2015 South Central Conference Champions, and have featured in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup twice (2016 & 17).
Steve Ralos is the team’s current Head Coach, with Assistants Jamie Harding, Jose Lopez, and Dylan Gruntzel.
The FC Wichita Women’s team competes in the Southwest (North) Conference of the Central Region in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL). Teams from Dallas, McKinney, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa contend for the conference title. 2017 is the Women’s team inaugural WPSL season.
Sammy Lane is the team’s current Head Coach.
A flourishing Youth Academy is overseen by senior club directors and currently develops players 4-19 years of age. The technical ability and unity academy players display helps prepare them for the collegiate and professional game.
