FC Wichita & The City of Wichita Parks & Rec Dept have just teamed up to bring you the largest footgolf tourney ever played in Wichita. Everyone is welcome!

The event is identical to that of a typical Golf Scramble Tourney. Teams are made up of 4 players. Each player gets to kick, and the one with the best kick is the ball/shot that is used for the next kick. Players will be on a regulation 18 hole footgolf course and teams will have various challenges at different holes, and a tournament winner will also be determined via the lowest team score.

So get your foursomes ready because you’re about to be a part of Wichita sports history as FC Wichita’s Footgolf Open will be the largest footgolf tournament ever held in Wichita. Be there on August 8th at L.W. Clapp Golf Course. REGISTER HERE

We only have room for 144 golfers, and this tourney will sell out FAST!

It IS the first of its kind, after all.

Prizes will be awarded to the lowest scoring individual, lowest scoring foursome, best team costume, along with longest drive and closest to the pin contest, other prizes are up for grabs too.

At the conclusion of the tournament we will award the winners their prizes

What is footgolf?

Footgolf is a blend of golf and soccer.  The game is played on a golf course, but instead of hitting a golf ball with a club, with footgolf you kick a soccer ball with your feet. Holes range in distance depending on whether it’s a par 3, 4, or 5.  Each cup on the hole is marked with a flag stick and is 22″ in diameter.
