Travis Pittman is the newest player to commit to FC Wichita for the club’s inaugural 2015 season.

Pittman has seen the game at the highest levels since his prep days in Virginia where he competed for the US National Team early on at U-14. Travis continued to stand out playing for the Virginia State & Regional ODP Teams from 2005-2007, he’d be rewarded with a roster spot on the U-16 US National Team and identified as an Adidas ESP 2007 All-Star.

Pittman went onto play for the DC United U-18 Academy and U-18 US National Team before signing with D1 West Virginia University. After his four college seasons at West Virginia ended in 2012, Travis went onto receive invitations for trail stints with Sporting KC and FC Dallas to name a few.

Most recently Travis played for the Wichita B52’s of the indoor Premier Arena Soccer League.

“Travis is a welcomed addition! We love his style of play, he’s very tactical and allows positive change on what we’re capable of doing with our formations.”

Pittman has also committed to being available for training sessions with local youth teams and players. FC Wichita can be reached regarding those sessions by email:
